    Great for beginners

    Greetings from Malaysia. I am new to yerba mate. Bought Cruz de Malta purely based on reviews. I am surprised with such a mild taste, it still gives me a lot of energy and focus.

    Very mild, no smoke

    I am by no means a seasoned yerba mate drinker but I found this one to be very mild. Medium leaves, steams, no smokiness, and very little dust. It doesn't provide as much clarity and focus as I'd like perhaps due to the medium cut and lack of dust. Although it is enjoyable to drink, I am going to try some other brands.

    Not as bitter as Taragui, would recommend for seasoned drinkers, though I question the necessity of having "bigger leaves". Would not buy again but would not be disappointed if it was the only brand available either. A fine 7/10 all around in taste and energy. It won't be your first choice to drink but it won't be your last either.
