Palo Santo Mate Gourd Solid Wood with Unique Rich Aroma

I was skeptical at first that if this was authentic palo santo because it didn’t smell like the typical stuff I have been user to and never had a palo santo gourd before. But I like the complexity in flavor it gives my mate and as I cure the wood with oil, the green grains have really popped out and are remarkable to look at! ( = Couldn’t be happier

If it were bigger I would give 5 stars. It adds a fantastic flavor to the Mate. I will probably get another one

It looks nice and has a good flavour, but it cracked quite easily.

It crack badly at its first usage despite having been wetted uniformly to allow the wood to expend evenly.

I was really excited to receive this mate gourd after hearing so much about it. I must say the flavor and smell is wonderful with the yerba. However the one I received had a chip on the surface, while it doesn't affect the integrity of the cup, it might have been a manufacture defect. Nonetheless, I cured it in coconut oil, both in and out and so far, not a crack. Loving it!

Don’t buy it, bad quality, the wood gets broken after a week

Really liked the gourd, just wish it was a bigger size. It's a bit small. Kinda disappointing only in that aspect.
