Description

It is a cake covering paste that has greater resistance to humidity.

  • Ideal for: Covering cakes, frills, collage, small modeling, fantasy flowers, color gradients, and textures. Flat decorations can also be made to adhere to the sides or top of cakes.

How to use

  1. Knead: Remove from the package and warm it up by kneading while hydrating with shortening or spray oil. This gives us more time to work on our covering or decoration, while preserving the intense color it comes with.
  2. Shape: Roll out with a rolling pin until achieving the desired thickness.
  3. Drying: Cover the cake. If using chocolate ganache, before covering, apply edible glue or water to ensure the paste adheres.

Tips

  • How to Dye Formula H: Mix Ballina Colored Pastes Formula H together to create a color palette or use edible gel or paste food coloring. Recommendation: add in small quantities until the desired shade is achieved.
  • How to Activate Formula H: If it's very cold or the weather is dry, place the pasta blister in the microwave for 15 seconds. This way, it will activate faster.
  • It can also be activated by cutting the paste into smaller pieces. Knead to generate heat and gradually incorporate them until the required amount is obtained.
