Word “Taragüi” in Guarani language means Corrientes - northern Argentine province, home to the Taragüi yerba mate production. This is the most commercialy successful brand of Las Marias, parent company that also produces other yerba mate brands such as Unión, La Merced and Mañanita. History of Taragüi brand starts in 1924 and today you can find this yerba mate all over the word in many different forms - classic con palo mate and even “mate cocido”, tea-bagged yerba mate.

    Just like home.

    I haven't been able to get good mate in the US, but being able to get Taragüi delivered means so much. I didn't realize until I smelled and tasted it — but it transported me back to Corrientes. I can't thank you enough.

    Taragui con palo

    A stronger and maybe bitter taste than other from Las Marias. However, Long lasting and tasteful. Will buy again.

    Good yerba

    I love mate and drink it daily. This is my brand of choice. Good flavor, consistent, classical Argentinian cut with stems and some dust. May not be for newcomers but it's one of the safest bets.
