How can I clean my mate's straw?

This is how you should clean your bombilla:

  1. Place your bombillas in a cooking pot filled with water.
  2. Add one tablespoon of baking soda for each straw you are going to clean.
  3. Put the pot on the fire and let it boil for 15 minutes.
  4. Use this limpia bombillas to remove all the yerba remnants that may still be there.
  5. Take out of the water, let dry and rub with cloth to bring back the initial shine.

Some other tips:

- For a deeper cleaning, you can add lemon slices to the pot.

- If your straw has too much tartar, you can use vinegar instead of baking soda. That will help remove it completely.
