Description

The Cubanito, barquillo or cucurucho got its name from its cigarette shape and toasted color. It’s rumored that, despite its various origins, the Cubanito was actually invented in Bahía Blanca, in the Buenos Aires province. The rolled-up wafer gives it its signature shape, and the texture is similar to that of a really fine puff pastry. Milk chocolate on the inside, to top it all off. The Argentinean sweet is a must in most traditional coffee-houses.
