You might find the “chocolate en rama”—a variant of more classic chocolate shapes, like the bar or tablet—in Argentina’s south. There is no chocolate more Argentine than this one; mostly because of the way it’s made: by stretching out a layer of chocolate, letting it cool and then gathering up the chocolate with a spatula, giving it the characteristic branch-like shape (“rama” means “branch” in Spanish). This means that the chocolate is hand-crafted and the little air pockets make it lighter than other types of chocolate.
-Comes in hazelnut and white chocolate versions.
For me, Bonafide’s Chocolate en Rama is the best there is. The texture and the flavor are top notch. I’m so happy that I can order them from Pampa Direct. I only wish they offered the bigger box, so I can eat more!
