    A overtone of bitterness and astringency that I did not like. Also gave me acid reflux.

    Smoother flavor and less powder than regular

    I really liked this mate. I usually get Cruz de Malta, but had always gotten the regular kind and had never had the selección especial before. The cut of the yerba is noticeably larger and there is significantly less powder. The flavor is good and smooth, and while the flavor is more mild initially, it also seems to last significantly longer. Definitely recommend.
