Description

Genuine leather camionero mate gourd from Uruguay.

  • Large size: average diameter 10 cm / 3.9", average height 13 cm / 5.1".
  • Thick, solid carved and dried natural gourd.
  • High-quality sewed leather, available in brown and black finishing.
  • Stainless steel collar ring.
  • Seamed flat base for stable, horizontal support.

First-time use: cure by filling with hot moistened used yerba for 12 hours. This will remove natural bitterness from the gourd. Remove gourd filaments with a spoon and allow to dry.

Tips:

  • Always keep dry after using.
  • Do not leave upside down.
  • Do not moisten metal collar ring.

    Extremely beautiful mate! High quality leather and finishing. Feels solid, very elegant and fits my hand nicely. Makes for long mates so it may not be for every occasion depending on how much you drink. Can you add pico de loro bombillas??
