About the band

Los Piojos was one of the most influential and beloved rock bands in Argentina. Formed in 1983 in Buenos Aires, the band blended various genres like rock, reggae, funk, and folklore, creating a unique style that resonated deeply with audiences. Throughout their career, Los Piojos stood out for their socially charged lyrics and their ability to emotionally connect with fans.

The band gained immense popularity in the 1990s and early 2000s, becoming a phenomenon in the Argentine rock scene. With iconic albums like "El Farolito" and "Verte Reír", Los Piojos packed stadiums and remained a reference point for generations of fans. Their self-managed, independent style and high-energy live performances allowed them to maintain a special bond with their audience.

Although they disbanded in 2009, Los Piojos are still remembered and admired for their musical legacy, cultural impact, and their ability to blend genres with a distinct touch of Argentine identity.
