Former Carnarias loyalist. Moving to aged dried vs smoked was a difficult transition. Missed the Uruguayan cut and the intensity of flavors -- all tried brands felt flat. Mathienzo immediately exceed and then elevated my expectations. Simply balanced and flavorful. Have been loyal now to Mathienzo for many years.

Mathienzo, one of the best mates I’ve tried. Nice earthy taste. Not too bitter. Very smooth and robust. Nice caffein jolt as well.
