How to Prepare Tereré

Fill approximately 3/4 of a guampa or mate cup with yerba mate.
Tilt the cup to approximately 45° so the yerba rests mainly on one side.
Add a small amount of cold water to moisten the yerba.
Insert the bombilla and slowly add cold water and ice. Refill as you drink.
