The turrón, quite similar to the nougat, is a traditional dessert found in Spain and the Middle East. In Argentina, we don’t keep the tradition of eating turrón outside holiday season. However, the turrón maní is, for its price and convenience, sold in kiosks as a go-to, almost like a cereal bar. This turrón contains peanuts and a hard nougat filling in between two thick, waffle-like wafers.

    Just to be clear, this review is just for the turron. It tasted, dry like cardboard and there were only a few piece of peanuts. It also tasted rancid. When I ate it 45 years ago was much tastier and full of peanuts . It was not dry... Too bad, Arcor is probably trying to make it healthier?

    It had been 10 years since the last time I had a turrón y maní bar so was excited to try it again but they were stale. It was disappointing. They were good but not great.
