  • How much should I take? Creatine, for a non-athletic or slightly athletic person, is needed only in a dose of 2-3 grams daily (Rawson et al, 2011; Terjung et al, 2000).   • Do I need creatine cycles? Creatine does not need to be taken in cycles.
