Milkaut's history dates back to October 9, 1925 when the Asociación Unión Tamberos (AUT) was founded in Franck, Santa Fe province. There were only 29 dairy producers who, guided by the cooperative spirit, decided to group together to defend the fruit of his work. It was acquired by the Uruguayan Víctor Navajas (one of the refounders of the city of Santo Tomé, Corrientes) after the War of Paraguay.
